Like a planned economy.
There's a gas station attendant, people who stand in front of parking lots and signal you where to drive in, people who operate the elevator, people who secure a construction site with a lamp?
Generally speaking, companies in capitalist countries save money wherever they can, but in Japan it seems as if the more jobs they provide, the more money they get?
Can anyone tell me if Japan is actually subsidizing jobs, or is this just a cultural thing?
