Two Nights for Shota has definitely been a standout whether it be good or bad. And right now the air around Shota feel a lot like Naito before LIJ.
He gets cheers but the Boos definitely outweigh him. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but after WK 8. Naito was around for a period of time in new japan in 2014 and then for a good amount of time left to Mexico. Then after a certain period a new version of Naito showed up.
Then he turned fully heel in 2015 and then LIJ was born with Evil as the first member of the group.
We could have the same scenario but it appears we are continuing the Mox story before any changes happen.
