Hi everyone, I've been playing with the idea of doing a masters in Japan, however I find the uni websites very confusing as they seem to gloss over the actual contents / structure of programs. How is a masters program structured?
In the UK you get a program, usually 1 or 2 years, with mandatory and optional courses (subjects). All masters programs I see on the University of Tokyo site seem to be very general, with no courses listed in the description. Do you have to pick all your own courses? Is there any way to see what courses/subjects are covered in the masters and how much they contribute to your grade?
