  1. I have the core 2k/6k and a mining deck as subdecks in one big deck in anki, and I’m wondering if I should suspend the 2k/6k when I learn 2k~ words and exclusively use the mining deck.

What do you guys think? Is the core 6k important too or are cards that I have mined myself more valuable?

  2. Yo any good ways to improve japanese reading, writing and speaking, school is doing an exchange program with some school in shibuya but my japanese is very poor but i still wanna go.

Its in like 4 months i think

  3. What is the grammar being used in this sentence? 家に帰るしかできなくなってしまう , particularly the しかできなくなって part. Thank you.

  4. I want to drop the 会話 class my manager put me in.

I’ve been working at this company for 2 years, where they invest in our Nihongo studies with native senseis. Last year, I took an N3 intensive class from Aug to Nov, then passed the JLPT in Dec. We were supposed to have 2-hr of self-study after the 2-hr class, but due to project demands, I used that time for work instead.

After passing N3, they put me in a 会話 class. However, the intensive class were more focused on JLPT, so even tho I passed the N3, I struggle to construct good replies in the kaiwa class. The class is now causing me anxiety, and I want to drop it, reasoning that I need to focus on reading and listening first.

    Is this the right decision?
