I’m admittedly a casual NJPW fan, so could someone please equate how big of a win this is to someone mostly familiar with WWE & AEW? Is it more akin to Kofi’s win @ WM 35 or Hangman winning the title @ Full Gear 2021? Obviously those are just examples; I’m sure there’s a more apt comparison out there. I’m genuinely happy for him regardless; I just want to understand the gravity of this win to those who’ve followed him regularly.

I can’t believe they actually did it. Likely in the minority (on this post), but I’ve never liked Goto. Perhaps it’s just the storyline working, but getting booked as the “guy who always chokes on the big one” isn’t endearing to me. I’ve always viewed him as a loser and never could get anyone to explain why they liked him
