Former supervisor I used to work with years ago offered me a role in his cloud native department in Tokyo if I want it. My wife and I think it might be a good move for us. Salary is a bit more than what I make now.
Thing is, I know nothing about living in Japan. However, I did grow up in Korea so I'm no stranger living overseas and my uneducated assumption is that both countries share a similar culture. My thoughts are for my kids though. We're Korean American and I'm just wondering from fellow foreigners here how kids who aren't Japanese fair well in elementary school? I assume I will have to put them in an international school?
