Hey everyone,
I’m really keen on working as an English teacher in Japan, but all I’ve heard about most of the dispatch agencies is pretty negative. I’d prefer to apply directly to schools but I'm not sure how to go about it.
I have a Bachelor's degree (which I gather is the basic requirement), and a Master's degree in Creative Writing. I’m from the UK and, while I don’t have formal training or experience in teaching, I’ve worked as a personal tutor in various subjects before.
What are my options here? It’s tough to find information online without being redirected to a bunch of TEFL/TESOL course sites. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
