What to do after finishing Japanese Duolingo course?

I am currently doing the Japanese duolingo course, and I want to know what do I do to become a N2 on the JLPT test, I am aware duolingo covers N3, but If I finish it, what do I do next?

  1. You start learning Japanese for real, like with a textbook

Duolingo’s Japanese course is quite bad, so I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

  2. Start immersing in only japanese content and make flashcards for words and phrases using anki. Last time i checked, the vocab that duolingo offers is OK, but grammar and listening are pretty bad.

  3. duolingo is terrible for learning past section 2, when i started learning i got to mid section 2 and then started learning outside of that, after sec2 duo is only useful for review and practice
