Hello everyone. I’ve been living in Osaka for about half a year and am coming up on a week of vacation towards the end of March (starting on the 20th). I’ve mostly been in the Kansai region since I arrived and want to try and get out to explore some other places. However I also don’t want to miss the cherry blossoms blooming so kind of wanted to go somewhere south rather than north. I was thinking about Kyushu or Shikoku but a lot of people online said it was best to explore those places with a car and I am lacking a license. Anyone have any good recommendations for a place I can explore using public transit?
For reference I am leaning more towards scenic/historic areas with nice nature but would also love to stop by some more bigger cities if possible.
