Advertising in public? Cafes? Any ideas?

Hi! 🙂 I have a maybe bit of a weird question. As I speak Japanese (N2 level) and I'm a teacher for German language, living outside of Japan now, but going there like once a year, I was thinking if it would be possible to put small papers or stickers with a QR Code that leads to my profile on language teaching platforms (or a own website that I could create) around public (or half public) places (e.g. the street, cafes & bars toilets, university campuses etc.) without making people angry about it.
Is this a thing in Japan? Would that be even allowed? Are there places where it is allowed and do people do that? Did anyone every try this and what were the results like?

I'm shifting towards online teaching these days cause all the local options here have very low payment and online I can save a lot of time, which means that my salary per hour would be much better.

As I'm speaking Japanese already, I thought that might be a special perk and having Japanese students would be fun anyway. 🙂

Thanks a lot for your feedback and tips and ideas.
Best regards
