TV Asahi Gave Me a Strike for My NJPW Video – Frustrating as a Fan!

Man, this is frustrating. I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was a kid, and NJPW is one of the promotions I’ve always admired. I recently decided to share my passion by making a video discussing NJPW, just to connect with other fans and have a conversation. No monetization, no bad intentions—just pure passion.

Then, out of nowhere, TV Asahi hits me with a copyright strike. I didn’t even know about them until now, but apparently, they’re super strict with NJPW content. I get protecting content, but why not at least ask, “Hey, why this video?” or say, “Okay, we’ll allow it, but no monetization”? That would make more sense. Instead, it’s just a straight-up strike.

This whole situation has made me take a break from both YouTube and NJPW. It’s just disheartening when you try to support something you love, only to get punished for it. Has anyone else had a similar experience with TV Asahi or other promotions?
