Am planning a 5-6 day trip to okinawa with some friends. We'd like to explore a mix of both nature and city stuff so we're considering renting an RV for more flexibility. One of the main concerns is how comfortable would staying and sleeping in an RV be, considering that august is the hottest month of the year. Has anyone done this in August before, and what was your experience like?
On this topic, any recommended places we should visit? Any places in okinawa that would be difficult to get to if we're travelling in an RV?

“In the hottest month of the year on a tropical island, I want to pack multiple people into a vehicle to live and sleep, anyone done that?” No, and god help you good luck if you do.
Edit: tbh i don’t think i’ve ever even seen an RV on island nor heard of an rv park or campsite that accommodates them.
The OkinawaRV web site has some info. I’ve never rented, but I’ve seen the RVs around.

It’s 100% humidity and 37-41 C.
You need AC
I would die, I’ve lived in the tropics my whole life and I never sweat so much doing nothing before

Okinawa is a chain of islands, and many of the best sights are not on the biggest one. Taking your RV to any of the other islands will be expensive or impossible.
