Watched a video that talked about it in details and there are some stuff that intrigued me and I want to read the pdf form since its hard to get the physical copy. I am not pregnant but I like to have these things just in case I need it one day because this is the only book I ever saw or learned about that has this amount of detailed info.please help me I have been on the haunt for 2 hours!

  1. What book are you referring to? If you have a title, it will help.

I cannot think of any book or textbook given to every woman in Japan, even though our family’s recently had a pregnancy.

  2. Do you mean the boshitecho? I don’t know if you can find a pdf for free as it’s a book that you get from the ward office. There isn’t much content in it, it’s mostly for tracking appointments and growth. Also you get separate books for coupons and vaccines.

When you get pregnant, go to the ward office after you confirm pregnancy and the hagukumi-shitsu will give lots of paper. Also your OBGYN will probably give you a book/lots of papers on what to expect at their hospital. Good luck!
