What to do in Ishigaki – terrible weather? Lots of rain and clouds for a week

Just arrived from Naha which was amazing, but the weather was pretty bad, looks like British weather, some sunny days but mainly freezing temperatures, windy and cloudy – quite surprising for a subtropic island in late March / early April (should call it the United Kingdom of Okinawa) aha! Lovely food and great people though!

Any suggestions on what to do for a trip in the rain and cold in Ishigaki? It's rain and clouds for the next week and 19 degrees most days, so beach is well out of the equation.

Need some good thoughts for "The Isles of Britishgaki"
