Starting Business In Japan as American

I am interested in how difficult the process is.

However, I am also interested in what would be an interesting idea. Like, what's needed in Japan that an American could offer or have expertise.

This does not have to be like a brick and mortar operation. Even if it was like consulting or freelancing.
