Why suddenly there are less people riding on chuo line

I remember when i used to ride it at 8:40 there were so many people, i couldn't even sometimes enter the train, but now suddenly it is more empty to the point that I can sit. What happened?
I’ve heard they’ve increased the number of trains on the Chuo-line to accommodate the number of people trying to get to the Expo.
It could be that the train increase is actually helping.
I can tell you that’s definitely not the case before 8:40… My morning commute is always jam packed
I didn’t check what they’re doing today because I very rarely use that like(5 times in over a year of being here), but they were every 3 minutes yesterday which is just, so so often that there will be a lot of relatively empty trains
i wish that were the case for the Midosuji line 🙁
I was surprised myself. In Morinomiya (JR Loop Line East) trains were already quite crowded at 8:45h. Traveled back a couple of stations to get a seat. Then suddenly trains were empty. You could get seats even beyond Hommachi were I thought most tourists would board. But it was only at Bentenchō (JR Loop Line West) when it got crowded, but still not CRAZY crowded.
Its the increased frequency. The train before the one I got this morning was packed as usual. Next one had some breathing room at least.
