Hi all,
I'm a UK applicant that has gone through the application process and obtained all the necessary documents aside from these. I planned to go for early departure if successful, now I'm not sure I'll be able to finish applying at all which stings considering I've got my references and have paid for the criminal check which I also have with me.
I called and subsequently emailed my GP surgery on the 30th September to ask them to complete these forms, including them on the email. I then sorted all the other documents over the next couple of weeks. Just yesterday the surgery responded with a two sentence reply saying that as they couldn't arrange all the tests on the application, they wouldn't be filling out any of it and that I needed to find another supplier. I asked at the NHS hospital who directed me back to them and said that they should sort this, but when I insisted with my surgery that they didn't have to fill out all of the forms, just to fill out and sort what they could and I'd take care of the rest, they still refused and told me I had to go private.
I live in the Cambridgeshire-Peterborough area, so I contacted the private hospitals there today and have been informed that they also will not fill these forms in.
The deadline is fast approaching and I feel like I'm going to be disqualified through what feels like no fault of my own – does anyone know of any providers that may be able to get this done and get my results back to me before the deadline? I'm 100% open to taking the train to other parts of the UK for it if I have to.
It's most frustrating because I've already paid for some of these documents and along with having easily enough Japanese ability to be able to get by in Japan, I feel I would make a strong potential candidate.
