How to find a good lawyer

How would one go about finding a really good lawyer for a very toxic work environment?

The office is located in Toyama-Ken but maybe that isn't as relevant since attorneys aren't limited to a single prefecture like an attorney in the US is typically limited to certain states.

Just trying to not pull a spin the Rolodex and get a name from the government office because they were next on the list and couldn't legal box their way out of a paper bag.
