My husband 42yr was born in NZ. His biological father (who never knew about him) never acknowledged him. We have written letters to the address and have had someone confirm they believe the family still lives there. My husband has had his DNA done and he is 45 percent Japanese and 5 percent southern Japanese. Is there anyway for him to get citizenship? Can anyone also recommend an agency in Japan that can help us with our search of reconnection? I understand this is an extremely sensitive subject in Japan. We already have an address and phone number however the language barrier makes it hard.
Any help would be much appreciated.
