Reality Check & Decision

Hi, I have applied to and got positive return from a JP Language School AND a Netherlands Master's Program at the same time. Realized too late that the Master's is not 1 but 2 years long and the fund requirement for my non-EU ass would simply double. I can somehow cover it but it will be too costly and the job market is really risky in EU.

I don't think Language School will actually help at all to my career, but Japan has been my dream for 10 years and Language school is an amazing step for learning the language and moving to working life in JP. In this 10 years I have been to Japan 3 times as a tourist, searched&learned a lot of stuff and improved my Japanese to N3. I can currently watch Japanese videos with no problem so listening/vocabulary is closer to N2.5 levels.

I need reality check before making a decision. For anyone who have taken the language school path to working in Japan, how difficult is it to find a good workplace with N2 level? Would you choose Japan vs Netherlands in a situation like this?

And most importantly, is it a dream to hope to find an actually good company in Japan with more than 10 days annual leave and good work-life balance, hybrid working etc?

I love REALLY want to try my luck in Japan but I do not know if I am just living in a dream and Japan is much harsher in reality.

Thanks!

Edit: I have been working for 5+ years as an IT Project manager.
