This is incredibly stupid on my part and I understand it. I've been stewing about it for a couple of hours and I'm not sure what to do.
Basically, My Japanese level has decreased significantly from being out of use since University, so I thought I should put down 'Intermediate' on my application, since I'm not a beginner but no longer able to hold very complex conversation topics. I had a bit of anxiety over my application today and went back to check that my submitted answers were all correct. But I have seriously messed up because I clicked the wrong option in the language portion and it says that my speaking level is Semi-Advanced, but my writing and reading are intermediate.
I'm so worried that if I'm lucky enough to get an interview I will just make an idiot of myself in front of the interviewers. I've been stressing myself out over this for a few hours. I emailed the UK JET Office but it is out of hours so I won't hear back from them for a while. What do I do? Should I make an entirely new application and ask my referees (and annoy them) to do write me a reference again? Or should I just bite the bullet and pray fir the best? I have little time to brush up but I will be doing that once I submit the application anyway.
I know its a stupid mistake to make, especially to realise it this late into the application.
