Hi everyone! I’ve recently gotten into collecting Goshuin (御朱印) and I’m especially interested in finding unique or limited-time stamps in or around Kyoto.
I’d love to know:
- How do you usually find info about special Goshuin?
- Any favorite temples that offer beautiful or seasonal designs?
- Do you have any fun or meaningful ways of collecting and recording them? (e.g., journaling, drawing, photography alongside stamps, etc.)
I came across the Thirty-Three Kannon Pilgrimage (三十三所巡礼) recently and it seems like such a cool way to collect Goshuin while exploring meaningful places. Has anyone done this pilgrimage or planning to do it?
