We are planning on travelling to Japan to work for roughly 5 months on a working holiday visa between August and December this year. Would anyone have any suggestions for the type of work we may be able to do as two native English speakers from New Zealand with a basic level of Japanese? We have looked around and we are unsure whether we would be able to get English teaching jobs for a short period of time (i.e less than year, or even less than 6 month contracts). We have also seen jobs in hospitality / fruit picking that might be an option but we aren't sure how often these jobs would be hiring.
We are also hoping to move around a bit, but if work is difficult to come by we would also be happy to base ourselves in a city and travel from there – but any help would be appreciated, thank you!
