My family and I are planning to go to Osaka this year. I am looking for recommendations for really affordable places to eat. And when I say affordable, I mean places where the middle-class and working-class locals go for a cheap meal. Similar to those tent places in K-Dramas, like on the side of the road. I mean, if it's good enough for the locals, it's good enough for me.
I keep reading about tourists saying that if you're on a budget, all you can eat are 7-Eleven or Lawson food. I mean, that can't be true, right? Are there places that serve proper meals that have the same price range as 7-Eleven and Lawson?
