Moving to Japan in August due to my Japanese partner getting called back to her headquarters there so will be joining. Currently we both live in China and I'm working as an English Teacher and have been for the past 2 years. I have 1 year of experience as a Homeroom Kindergarten Teacher and was the Director of English at the kindergarten which taught IEYC and I am currently an English Teacher at an IB international school in PYP. I don't have a PGCE or QTS and my bachelors degree isn't in teaching. Currently I'm on around 480,000 JPY a month at my current school, but I know I won't get nearly as much as that at a dispatch company etc. If it's any extra help, I'm 24 years old and British.
I'm wondering if these 2 years experience at an IB school and teaching IEYC will be good enough to get me into teaching at an international school or at least good enough so I won't be working for these dispatch companies like Borderlink, NOVA etc.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Want to also add – What are the chances of getting a job not in the teaching industry. Bachelors is in Cyber Security and Forensics and have some experience in the banking industry (1 year at JP Morgan as a Fraud Tactical Response/Fraud Analyst)
