What is it like to be an oncology patient in Japan?

Last year, I was diagnosed with two types of cancer (Hodgkin's lymphoma and thyroid cancer), but by the grace of God, I am now 100% cancer-free.

However, I still need to undergo regular medical checkups to monitor my health.

I'm planning to move to Japan next year, but since I'm still in the follow-up phase, I'd like to hear from others who have been through a similar experience.

How is cancer follow-up care in Japan? Are the doctors good? Is it safe? Is it expensive? Has anyone here gone through this experience?
