Hello everyone, I was hoping to ask for some opinions regarding my value as a worker/teacher under my current arrangement. It's something I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my head around as I'm not sure if my position is one I can leverage or if I'm just one of thousands in a similar position.
- I am a 27 year old Australian with a Working Holiday Visa with 1 year and 3 months remaining.
- I have a University undergraduate degree
- I have 5 years working in schools in Australia including teaching.
- I have an n4 level in Japanese.
based on this information, what kind of salary would you suggest aiming for? I'm not sure if i should scramble and accept the first position I can find, or if I should look for a higher level position and leverage my skills.
