Easily one of the most star studded inter-promotional tag matches in Puro history, imo.
This is the main event of the inaugural Zero-1 show, a promotion founded by Hashimoto in the wake of his "retirement" from NJPW (Zero-1 was originally conceived by Hashimoto as an "offshoot" of NJPW, which is why Nagata is teaming with him, as well as why Kazuyuki Fujita is present). You have Hashimoto, the "Ace" of 90's NJPW, teaming with Yuji Nagata, who by that point was already being seen as NJPW's potential new top star, wrestling against Misawa, the "Ace" of 90's AJPW (and founder of Pro Wrestling NOAH, which was doing co-promotion with Zero-1 in the early days of both companies) and Jun Akiyama, who was being hyped as NOAH's first potential "Ace".
Match dynamics between all 4 men are very fun. You have Akiyama and Nagata, both known for their Exploder Suplexes (although innovated by Akiyama but based on Hiroshi Hase's Uranage), being eager to showcase themselves as younger top guys. Ofc, Hashimoto and Misawa's interactions are what the crowd came to see, as the two trade wicked strikes, Misawa's legendary elbows vs Hashimoto's stiff chops and kicks. Nagata's time with Misawa shows him mistakenly trying to engage the "Emerald Warrior" with some forearm shots, only to eat some classic Elbows. Tbh, it's Hashimoto and Akiyama's back-and-forth that's my favorite in the match. Akiyama is taunting Hashimoto pretty much from the start, taking potshots at him on the apron, which leads to Hashimoto lighting Akiyama the fuck up with kicks, chops and slaps.
