Tokyo customs make what is believed to be Japan’s largest bust of ketamine

Tokyo police and customs seized approximately 40 kilograms of ketamine smuggled into Japan through Haneda airport in two suitcases. The French woman, a 21-year-old cook, was detained and the drugs, valued at 920 million yen, were confiscated.

  1. 40kg? That is like the limit of all bags one can carry. Was it like two huge bags of ketamine with her and the passport, nothing else?

  2. That has to be a long sentence. I saw a video about a Japanese prison and it looked very strict. I wonder if female prisons are the same.

  3. That seems insane! I thought the big dealers would be smart enough not to put the whole shipment in one almost-certain-to-be-discovered shipment. Maybe they outsourced to amateurs. Someone’s getting terminated.
