I'm trying to prepare my mind for the worst case scenario when I'll visit Okinawa in the end of August.. Since I'm used to Vietnamese typhoons, which leave the sea brown, muddy and full of debris, and the sky cloudy for days or even weeks.
Is it the same when a typhoon hits Okinawa/ Yoron? Is the sea left muddy, brown and polluted for many days after the event?
And how long is a typical Okinawan typhoon?
