Hey everyone!
I've already lived in Fukuoka for my studies, and while it was nice, I have to admit it felt a bit boring for me, just not quite the vibe l'm looking for long-term or for my age.
Work isn't really a factor in my decision. I'm more focused on lifestyle and overall feel. I definitely don't want anything as packed or tourist-heavy as Tokyo or Osaka, but I still want a city that feels alive good energy, fashion, or small events here and there.
These are the cities I'm considering:
• Nagoya (curious if it's underrated?)
• Saitama
• Kanagawa
• Sendai
• Akita
• Sapporo (less sure about this one— but could be fun?)
• Miyazaki (this one's kind of for the fun/sun lol)
If you've lived in any of these or have a favorite mid-sized city in Japan that fits what I'm searching for, l'd love to hear your thoughts!
