Hello, I'm Diana, and I want to know what should I do to live in Japan. I have been told that the Japanese work visa is relatively easy to obtain, nevertheless the information on Japan's website doesn't seem to be quite clear, since one of the requirements is a document that the immigration office provides, the Certificate of Eligibility.
Has anyone been through this process? Do you know which process should I go through to obtain a temporary residence? (Work visa)
Thanks in advance 🫰

You need a company that is in Japan to sponsor your visa, and they’ll apply for your CoE that you’ll use to get a visa.
Step one is to look at the thousands of guides online and see what you would qualify as, and if you’re in a valid profession (ie- some professions hire non Speakers, some hire N2, some need good Japanese, some won’t sponsor at all).
Step two is to see if the salaries in your field would be worth it there. For many they… well they aren’t. For other people it’s 110% worth it.
Step three, if you are in an applicable profession and it’s worth it, is to start following said guides.
