I'm a 5th year attorney licensed to practice in CA and am looking for advice from any legal professionals that moved from the US to Japan. What job do you currently have and/or what is your current practice area? If you are at a firm, were you working at that firm while you were in the states? If you are in-house counsel, were they a previous client? Alternatively, if you were in-house counsel in the US, do you still work at that company while living in Japan? What exams did you have to complete in order to practice in Japan?
As you can tell, I have a number of questions before I get the wheels turning on this. Thank you again for your input. I really appreciate it.
