Hi, this is for any incoming jets coming into Tokyo. I'm not sure if Tokyo is the only place where this company is used or if there's other places too. I will just speak for my own experience and echo what I've heard others say. In Tokyo you're given the choice to find your own housing or use the assistance of a company called Wagaya.
I had three weeks to find housing, was short on time and energy, and decided to use Wagaya. I ended up paying A LOT more than I wanted to for move-in costs. I was not happy with the process however, I am happy with my current place, and with a salary increase it is much easier to live comfortably. Please be careful if you are using this company though. do not feel rushed to settle on a place. Even if you don't have a place decided when you come to Japan, you can get a hotel for more days. So find what works best and don't let them pressure you.
if you don't speak much Japanese, your best bet will be to look at sharehouses. https://shares.house/L_en/ While there's less privacy, it's definitely more cost-effective and you have more opportunities to meet and hang out with people.
If you do speak Japanese you may be able to find a company that will work with you.
