  1. Good for them for landing a type of job that they at least wanted. Many people take jobs that they don’t want so that they can get food on the table.

  2. Understandable.
    With AI fear taking over our jobs these days, many young people in Asia want stability over income.
    It’s really a matter of preference, though. Just like some would rather take risks and make more money by starting a business or doing investment full time

  3. I’ve always looked for stability in a job, especially since having a kid, but it’s usually the companies that take advantage of that loyalty and force people to look elsewhere.

  4. 99% of these people will probably feel differently after a year of experience, if not six months.

  5. I believe it. People want job security and career progression.

    The sad part is that there is NO job security. A company will lay you off if you don’t meet targets. And there’s also rarely career progression. You get promoted once every 5 years if you’re lucky.

    People DO want stability and security. But companies don’t actually offer either. So over time, people get jaded and they change their views.
