My partner and I are from Canada and planning to submit our marriage registration form in Japan. It’s our 10 year anniversary! We require two adult witnesses to sign the form.
We are currently in Osaka and are hoping to find witnesses by tomorrow (June 1).

Do the witnesses need to gather at a certain time or location? Or just sign the form separately and that’s it?
