Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out with deep concern, my friend Diego, a 23-year-old student from Mexico, went missing while swimming near Green Island, Taiwan (Lüdao 綠島) on May 30. Strong currents (Kuroshio) may have pulled him out toward the open sea.
We are asking for help from people living in or near the coasts of Yonaguni and Ishigaki to keep an eye out. These are the closest islands to where he disappeared, and there's a small chance that currents could bring him toward Okinawa's southwestern shores.
