Wife’s family is originally from Okinawa. This is the first time she’ll be visiting , so we’re going to want to see as many of the culturally relevant stuff as possible so she can feel some kind of connection
We’re not interested in American village or the aquarium
We are interested in finding a nice hotel for the first couple of days in the Naha area within walking distance of kokusai dori and all the various shops and restaurants. we saw that some of the hotels have a dedicated rental car counter – since we’re not planning on driving around until day 3 or so(after exploring everything within walking distance), does it make sense to rent a car in town? Or should we take the monorail back to the airport and rent from there ?
Also, we want to experience as many of the drive ins along the way to Nago as possible
Which ones are the Must-visit ones?
