Hi all,
I got the opportunity to move to Japan this Fall for my PhD (engineering) and I would love to hear you opinion regarding which one of these two universities might be overall better. Until now the only pros and cons I can find about them are:
– UTokyo needing a written entrance exam for PhD too (which I know might be common but I would really love to avoid after 5+ years of exams taken) but great faculty members and academic staff
– TokyoScience campus scattered around Tokyo, Kawasaki and Yokohama, might not need a written entrance examination and is ranked slightly below UTokyo
After searching about them, both programs seem excellent so these are the only "factors" I can think of to make a decision, as both universities have labs that I am interested in too.
Would love to hear your opinions about any aspect of these two universities as I want to start the admission process! Thank you all!
