Hey, I took my wife's last name when we got married, we already registered our marriage in Japan, but I didn't apply for an alias yet. When submitting the CoE application we wrote the name in Kanji. My wife's sister will submit the documents for us, so we can still send her another document with a Katakana last name instead if this would be problematic. Do you guys have any experience with this?
