People who had been in homestay, what programs did you use?

I would like to go to Japan through homestay to study and learn the culture. I have less than a week of school and once I finish, I would like to go to Japan to study.
If I were to go study in Japan, I would be a highschooler. The easiest option would be to go through homestay programs, which wouldn't be an issue if it was for the fact that I would rather attend a Japanese Highschool rather than a language school which I see programs offer.
What programs would be recommended for my issue? Please help me 🙏
