Hello! Our flight lands in Okinawa at 7:30 pm on Saturday July 5 and we need a rental car. Right now I have a reservation at 8 pm but I'm getting nervous that we won't make it before the shop closes. We'll be in Okinawa for 3 nights.
How fast can we expect to get out of customs/immigration? Wife and I are American citizens flying from Hong Kong.
Are there any rental places that rent cars after 8 pm?
Right now we're staying at the Crowne Plaza resort at Uruma Hills because we booked it with points but an Uber would charge us $100 USD just to get there.
My options are:
1-Change hotels or book a hotel closer to the city to spend that Saturday night and then rent a car Sunday and head to the Uruma Hills for Sunday and Monday night.
2-Just pick another hotel and pay for it.
3-Can I rent a Scooter instead? Where? Are there lockers in the Airport where we could leave our carry ons and just hang out for three days with a backpack?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
