This is a niche issue but nevertheless worth a mention: It seems like even with the bigger used phone chains in Tokyo like Janpara and Iosys there are vast price differences when it comes to the purchase price they offer. Today I went to sell my old iPhone 14 plus, and went to Iosys which is a relatively big chain first. they said due to the discolourations on the frame they can only offer me 23.000, which I declined. I then went to Janpara, also a chain and as far as I know somehow affiliated with big camera and they gave me 52.000 for the same phone. So if you're selling and the offer seems low, the prices actually vary a lot and it's worth to shop around, there isn't some sort of price cartel going on as far as I can tell.
