  1. Such non-news.

I’ve never smoked marijuana and don’t plan to, but I still think that Japan is just so backwards when it comes to it. Really? Uni students smoking weed becomes national news?

  2. Commence universal moral outrage on all Japanese media outlets in 3…2…

  3. How long before the entire team is punished and suspended? Such brazen and dangerous activity /s

  4. These poor kids. They’re going to drag them through hell over a plant.

  5. Lol as someone from Seattle I just laughed at this. Teens smoking weed is such a non issue. (I never smoked but it’s just so commonplace)

  6. Stop the presses! Shut down the school! Call in dozens of cops to stand around doing very little!

  7. Oh *NO*

How could they *do* such a *horrendous* thing.

Smoking a *plant*. A terrible terrible *plant*

  8. Smoking plant? Sure, go to it in the designated areas.
Smoking other plant? Go to hell you deviant.

  9. Or as we call it in the Netherlands: a typical part of the university experience

  10. Oh my God! Terrible news! Japan is a NO DRUG COUNTRY MMKAY!?!?! *sips Chuhai 9% while smoking a pack of cigarettes* GODDAMN JUNKIES!

  11. One of the most dominant university judo teams. It’s a bit comical to pair that against all the outrage until you realize their lives are now ruined here.

Ridiculous. Critical thinking and contemporary drug education would go a long way for Japanese public discourse. Weed is so banal, focus should be on real social issues. Not university lads smoking some weed.

Remember Michael Phelps smoking weed? Probably due to the back pain of carrying all those gold medals.
