Can you help me remember the name of a ramen place I went to in a mall. more info in body text.

I remember that it was near one of the entrances to the shopping mall "IIAS Okinawa Toyosaki" in Toyosaki City, Okinawa.
This image is the noodles I got there. it had a thick curry broth and I think the noodles were made of potato.
I also remember it had a logo that looked like an orange flower. I searched everywhere but nothing showed up. I looked up floor maps but they were so low quality I couldn't make out the text. please help.

  1. The bowl looks like the ones used by はなまるうどん (Hanamaru udon). Generic udon chain ☺️

  2. Since others already got it, I’ll just add info about the word *hanamaru* (はなまる / 花丸).

It literally means “flower circle,” and that’s what the little design on the bowl (and logo) is called. It’s typically drawn by teachers for kids in lower grades, and it’s usually reserved for perfect scores. Basically the restaurant aims to make satisfying meals, hoping for a *hanamaru* from their customers (and it’s cute).

To draw it, you only need one stroke: start a spiral starting from the center, then once the circle is complete, continue to add petals on the sides.

  3. Not to be mean, but Hanamaru is barely above making yourself some supermarket udon. There’s way better shops out there.

  4. Yes, Hanamaru Udon. Very good curry udon. Marugame Udon is another good udon restaurant chain that has really good curry udon.
