Does it make a difference in bank direct debits if phonetics are mismatched in my Japanese name?

Hi Guys,

I recently setup a direct debit for my new credit card and I want to know if mismatched phonetics will be a problem. My name in the bank has バ but after setting up the direct debit it was パ
Will this cause the debit to fail? There is only this difference. Rest of the name is correct
