Part meme, part unsponsored review lol. App is Lingo Legend and so far I really like it. Replaced Duo as my fun review game and is approximately 400x better.
It has several modes of play and a decent amount of customization within the curriculum. Exercises are varied so you're doing J–>E, E–>J, J–>J (including reading and listening) at different times, which helps mitigate the "I memorized what words to tap bc this is my 17th time doing the same exercise in the same way" aspect of Duo.
Love that they drop kanji into context immediately. Sometimes an exercise will also be written in hiragana at the top of the card but it's never used as furigana so it doesn't draw your eye away from the kanji.
It's only been a few days, and I'll probably give it the summer to see how it goes, but I really like it so far!
