  1. I used to travel to Japan through KIX because it was the more affordable flight path from ORD back in the day prior to the Aichi Expo kind of screwed everything up.

KIX’s sinking problem has been well-understood for as long as I have been traveling through it. Is this “news.”

  2. This really isn’t news.
It’s been sinking since it was constructed, by design it will subside.
Although it is sinking a little faster than expected, it’s not out of the ordinary and they have methods in place to raise the buildings and runway as the ground sinks.

    Clickbait ahh articles.

  3. While it isn’t new news – the article is written by the Asia News Network (which provides in-depth coverage of regional and international issues by presenting local viewpoints on complex topics), and was adapted by one of Singapore’s key media outlet, the Straits Times. I wonder what was the motivation of such an article. New information?
