We are Chinese-American family in America thinking about relocating to Osaka. My spoken Japanese is usually rusty, but I can read pretty much everything* and have enjoyed many trips across the country with fam. Kids in elementary and middle school and they know Mandarin + English. The Japanese education system looks nice, not seen any real red flags when perusing local news over the years.
We (adults) lived in China for most of our lives but want to move to Osaka and were wondering about living/schooling/work situations for folks like us. I'm in software engineering, missy is in childcare.
So for Osaka migrant families, how do you like your neighborhood? Apartment size and quality of life? Anything worth mentioning about the schools? Toss me your favorite resources for migrant families there?
*Not so much sophisticated literature/historical things
