Here’s a very rough draft of my itinerary to Okinawa. Hope I can get your comments and let me know what you think? For this trip, I’m going for something chill and enjoyable at the same time.
Things I want to do:
See fireworks
Snorkeling with sea turtles
Stargazing
Food trip
Rent a car
Stay at a beach resort hotel
Unofficial itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive at Naha, check in at hotel, food trip at kokusai dori
Day 2 same hotel, ride ferry and go to Tokashiki island to snorkel with sea turtles
Day 3 same hotel, see fireworks
Day 4 check out hotel, rent a car and go stargazing at Kunigami Forest Park
(check in at forest garden cabin here???)
Day 5 check out from cabin, and check in at beach resort hotel
Day 6 return the car, and chill
Day 7 check out, fly out
Other notes:
3 nights stay at hotel in Naha
1 night stay at the Kunigami forest
2 nights at a beach resort hotel (still on search but would love to experience one of Okinawa’s stunning beach resort hotels, any recommendations?)
2 days of rental car (or if can return on Day 5, then 1 day only)
